Super Duty Alternators
What are the typical amps for SD trucks? I have '02 F250SD Crew 4x4 5.4L (gas) and went to get alt. The 130amp had different wiring set and closed eyeholes mounting on bottom and was $60 cheaper. I had to get the only other option 110 amp??? that matched @ parts store. It hums and lightly squeels w/ lighting pulsating. Charges battery (12.8v) to only 13.4v w/ normal daytime driving. Is this a bad alt./ volt. reg. or too weak?
