KJKozak2, the only reason to add a condenser is to reduce arcing of the contacts in the relay like a condenser in a points ignition system, not "to achieve "buzz"".

The 0.1 to 102.3 seconds in 0.1 second increments 12 volt time delay relay can be had for $27.50 plus shipping to your area. Calif was $9.05 shipping, total $36.55. I purchased the timer thru skycraftsurplus.com or Google Skycraft Parts & Surplus. They're in Florida.
The timer is DPDT 10 amp contact rating, 12 volt coil, octal base included, digi-set, D.I.P. switch time set / selection. Part # TDML12DL. Sounds like you can wire both coils to the timer instead of the timer controlling extra relays.
Ivan, for Red flames, Lithium Chloride (LiCL),
Scarlet Red flames, Strontium Chloride (SrCL2)
White flames, Barium Sufate (barite
Blue flames, Cupric Chloride
Hope this helps.....=o&o>.....

There was a discussion of this over on the '48-60 forum a year or so ago. There is a circuit diagram to use a Duraspark box and capacitor/resistor to set the occillation frequency.
Yeah, i didn't mean to say that the condensor achieves the buz, but that the relay AND condensor do. Without the condensor, you're right, the relay just arcs on the inside.
Scot and others interested in a ignitions for flamethrowers.

Check his photos, a Motorcraft ignition module (late 70's to early 80's) that is triggered by a 555 timer. A wrecking yard we go.

Yup. The 555 timers from radio shack along with a variable ohm resistor and a few other parts will work also. Just make sure you have a good soldering iron because those timers are really sensative to heat. I fried 3 or 4 of them making my last ignition circuit.
What does the MotorCraft ignition module look like, size and location on the late 70's to early 80's Fords? I'll go to Pick-N-Pull if I knew what I was looking for. Ford ignition for me is a Crane XR3000 on the 68 CS.

Ebay!if You Want The Kit For About 40 Bucks.thats The Way To Go. I Bought My Fron It And It Shhoots A 3 Foot Flame Everytime.the Only Thing Is You Truck Cant Have A Cat Enless You Put An Injector Taped Into Your Fueline Dont Use Propane Though.no Flames Just Big Bang!
Check Out My Gallery "lifted F100".its A Flat Black 1976 F100 I Have Pics Of The Spark Plug Setup Maybe That Will Help You But I Dont Have Any Pics Of The Flames Yet But I Should Tommarow.
The bigger flames is just more exhaust pressure and more fuel. If you use the nos nozzles you can set your jetting for more fuel, just make sure that you have enough pressure on the exhaust to blow the flame out the exhaust.
