I don't think you're the typical male child if you don't sample spark plug voltage at least once when growing up. I've had that happen to me a few times.

I used to hate that dam springy piece of metal just above the spark plug on the ole Briggs & Stratton mini-bike.
I would always hit the plug/plug wire instead, trying to kill the engine.
luckily i have been smart enough to no been hit by a plug yet. my dad is an electrician and i know what electricty can do. but i have been hit by a propane grill igniter, 120V, and stripping the end of phone wire with my teeth and wonderin what that tingling and metallaic taste is and where it is coming from so to doubble check i did it again.
