I am looking for a stock Y pipe that someone has removed. Mine has been modified and I am not liking the higher torque range. It did improve the power but I would take any lower torque for when I tow my trailer with my 3.73 gears.
I have one off a 99 you can have *FREE*if you pay shipping. Only thing wrong with it is an O2 sensor stripped in one of the bungs. The sensor stripped not the bung so it should be easy to fix.
Anyone know the specifics on the Y-pipe for 2000 vs 1999? V10man has a '99 and not sure it is the same. I would like a direct bolt in so I can keep my modified one for now.
Hmmm...don't think they changed between those two year but also am not sure if it is a bolt on. I think (and V10man will verify) that the Y-pipe is welded to the cat.
Rod, take V10KLZZ71S's pipe. It will fit no problem.
The cat is not welded on on either but the distance from the 3 bolt flange is different. On the 99 the flange is about 4" from the cat while the 00 and newer are about 18" or more.

What I think is interesting is the Y it's self. On the 99 it looks to be a smooth transistion, while the newer ones it's more like a T.
The only problem is I used a torch to remove the cat from the y-pipe, but the flange is still on the cat. I can send the flange too. Just need a muffler shop reconnect it to the y-pipe.
