Caster adjustment

After replacing "EVERYTHING" in my suspension life is good except for one little nagging problem. I have a slight pull to the left that is worse with speed and a little bump steer, always to the left. I just had it aligned to 0 toe in and 1/4" pos. camber but they didn't record the caster values. Problem appeared after I changed everything and was there before and after alignment. What if I add an 1/8" space to the right strut to increase caster on that side? Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Bear, if you mean you want to add a 1/8 th spacer under the rear of the radius arm, yeah that may help. But will it be enough ? I measured the radius arms @ 23 inches on my truck. If we look a the cicumference of a 46 inch circle, and divide by 360 degrees, we need about .40 just for one more degree of caster. The factory gives about 3 or 4 degrees and I would like 12. There might be more to be gained at the front of the arm. If anyone else has a good idea lets have it. DF

When you discover what your problem is, please let me know. I have a 1969 Ford F-100 which at 60 MPH the pull to the right is some times more than my powersteering can handle. I have changed everything but the shems, guess they are next.

It would really be good to know exactly what the caster is in order to have a benchmark but I don't know mine. I added an extra cup wash on the radius arm in from of the bushing where it mounts to the frame. This should have pushed the right side wheel forward 3/16". It seems to be a bit better but I may need another washer in there. I know the track front to rear is 3/4" longer on the left side. (before I added the washer) It may be a week or two before I can get back to it but will update the post after the next washer. I also need to make sure the nut on the left side radius arm is as tight as it will go. Just thought of that one.
