Does anyone know if the Expeditions will be changed over in mid May also? Or when a PDF of the full 07 equipment and options will be available? The BlueOval article I posted said Fall availibility... but I assume they will be out in late summer...

re: SD's. I have it from good authority (ahem) that the '07 SD pickup will be a serial number change- not much else should change. Look for late summer buildout dates for that truck though.

Expedition was just shown in houston- no dates on order/changeover of the Expedition or the Expedition XL (yeah, the stretch is coming too). 6-speed Auto should address some of the perfomance issues in this model.

Ok now as I understand it. The 07s will be the same bodystyle with the new 6.4 powerstroke maybe now maybe later like early 08. Polarbear can you clarify.

No, no, no....

the '07 will just be a serial # change- there shouldn't be any substantive changes in the truck itself ('cept, maybe the sticker price ). The '08 should be rolling down the lines in very late '07 or the very 1st part of calendar year '07. That's the 6.4. A little birdie told me they shoved it back a bit to make sure the new "clean" diesel fuel would be readily available before they launched the new motor.

Polar,
Know that they are suppose to be "Improving" the Diesel engine but are they expecting any changes to the V10 Engine either with the 07 model or the 08 model.
Will engine choices be the same 5.4, V10, Diesel.
