Hello all,new guy here.I have a04 F250 super duty with rusted backing plates on the rear.parking brake hardware fell apart and got ground up.Is this a common problem and how hard is it to change backing plates

thanks for the info.winters arent that bad,but the state started using a new deicer which is killing vehicles.same thing happened to a coworkers avalanche,only all four wheels
