Smashed my tailgate

Good Morning,

Tailgate got all smashed up....so now i need another one......01 Flarside, black with the lock on the tailgate....anyone have any idea what i'm looking at price wise for one.....and where to buy one or look for one

is that a grand in california....i'm in backcountry of pennsylvania.....seams like everything is a rip-off in california.......mabey i'm wrong but i hope i'm not

Check Ebay, you can get an aftermarket shell for under $200 and install the guts out of your's. Tailgates are a hot item on thease trucks so finding one complete on ebay will run you 3 to 400 bucks (and it may be the right color). I got lucky and got one for $136 on ebay.

136 bucks is a good deal. I have a guy here in canada, that wants to sell me a used tailgate with no guts in it for 250 bucks.

I hate to give away this secret for finding stuff cheap on ebay, but here it is. If there is a way to misspell something (I come by this talant naturaly ) then search for it. If some one misspells the item in the tittle, then almost no one will see it. The "tailgate" I bought was spelled "Tallgate".
