TAILGATE QUESTION FOR 1994 BRONCO!!!

so, my baby got vandalized while i was away last week. someone smashed my window and DESTROYED my tailgate. well, round here..all people are sellin are either rusted, crappy tailgates for my year..or clean ones for 86-91. would one of those fit on mine? or am i just S.O.L? i dont care if it looks different, cuz shes gettin painted, and it wont matter. i just need to know if itll fit and act the same as the one i had. thankyou!

The gates are interchangeable back into the mid 80's at some point, (which I can never remember) the location of the latches (and striker bolts) changed. You just want to make sure you measure to make sure the gate you buy has latches in the same location as you have. You can get a new aftermarket tailgate shell. This forum's sponsor carries them. It really depends on how much work/money you want to put into the project.
