You would not gain any Horsepower, you might even lose some. You would gain torque at low RPM. It would be noticeable.

Just out of curiosity why would it lose HP? i was thinking of getting a new double roller timing chain and a few ppl on here have told me itd be beneficial in gaining some HP. Not sure what to believe now!

Horsepower = Torque X RPM.

A retarded cam will produce maximum torque at higher RPM, than a 'straight-up' cam. It is the higher RPM that produces more HP.

A straight-up cam will produce maximum torque at lower RPM, and it will produce higher maximum torque. So more torque, less HP.
