Help w/4x4 radius arm brackets
I am in the process of installing a 4 inch lift on my father in law's 1973 F100. The lift kit has radius arm drop brackets that replace the stock brackets. The stock radius arm brakets are riveted to the frame. I have removed the rivet heads with an air hammer/chisel but cannot get the rivets to push out of the frame/bracket. I have used the air hammer/punch but all that does is dig into the rivets. Should I use the torch to heat the brakets? If I have to cut these brackets off, not what I really want to do, what other radius arm brackets are a direct replacement for the '73s. Help!

You could try using a sawzall if there is room to get to it(inbetween the frame and bracket). Do you just have drop brackets that require stock brackets or just whole new extened ones? if you just have drop brackets that require stock brackets then you can get a set off of a 73-79 F-100 or 150 4wd or a 78 79 Bronco if you have to cut them off.
