Help Id'ing tranny
its out of my buddys circle track car. its a three speed.
the numbers i found are as follows: Fomoco DIF AJ 9c26 C8AR 7006 -C. the last two number are on top of each other and the "C' is off to the Right side.
Any help would be great. thanks.

All synchro, iron case, side shift, top loaded gears, same pattern as a toploader 4 speed? That's a Ford 303, so called as that is the measurement from one shaft to the other, or so I read. Used in Fords starting in late '63, and sold to GM for use in their rigs in the '60s as well.
