When I bought my 59 f100 the po gave me another steering box he had gotten to install and never did.It clearly is not the exact same box as the original one.Its a larger unit and the steering shaft is not hollow. can anyone identify the box by the casting number? the number is C3TR3550A DIF Thanks for any help.
My box has GEMMER molded into top of box. Am looking for seal kit for it. Found Pittman arm seal at Napa and oreillys, no gasket sets at this time

Thanks for the numbers/info.Dont see my number in the list.
C3TR-7550-A is not listed in the truck parts catalog nor the Master Cross Reference catalog.
The only number that can ID the steering gearbox is listed in column 1 (Housing Identification Number) in the chart that Teddy posted.
But, you may not be able to find the number, as it was stenciled on the housing originally.
C3TR is a 1963 casting number, but the gearbox could be from any 1961/64.
