On my 48 F-3 I have black fenders and a rustoleum blue body and bed. I have seen black with white body, black with red, and the ever popular John Deere green with yellow. What other combinations have been seen out there for those of us who enjoy spending $40 on paint and brushes versus a couple grand on a paint job to last a lifetime?
I think this is what I'm going to go with on my truck.(one day) All 4 fenders and running boards will be--(Black-paint code is "UA") Hood, Cab, Bed, Tailgate--(Mineral Gray Metallic-paint code is "TK") I haven't seen one that exact color combo yet where I live, but I have seen one close to it. This color combo would look very Slick. The paint code I put down for you is what Ford put on there Trucks/SUV/Car's for the year 2005.
Solid, 1 color trucks were sold in the USA, Trucks with black fenders, running boards need passports to enter this country. Them thars is Ca-nucks Trucks
I guess my truck will need a "passport" then, b/c thats the look I like. Nothing wrong with solid colors either. I just like a 2-tone look better. Give's the truck alittle more Classy look going down the road.
