Honeycomb Grill
Am I the only one that likes the stock black honeycomb grill on the XLT's? I've looked at many other grills, including the new HD one, but still can't get myself to buy one. I'm getting the black HD headlights, but I still think the black grill would go better with those lights on my truck (dark gray). Maybe I should see a therapist?

I agree about the black grill effect, but I ain't so sure about the honeycomb effect in black. On my 02 Sport XLT, I used a black polycarbonate insert with no logo. When you looked close, it had like millions of tiny holes. But at a distance, of say, 20 feet, it looked totally blacked out. Much better than black honeycomb. But, then again, this is only my 2 cents. If memory serves correctly, the insert was only $50 or so. I think Lund made it.

I had the painted grille with the blacked out honeycomb. I wanted just the chrome bezel. I found a grille with the chrome bezel and honeycomb. Very happy with it(pics in my gallery). If I could have found just a chrome bezel, that would have been OK, too.

It does not include the ford emblem. You can find them on ebay,also ,or use your old one.
