Grille Swap
I have the XLT and it has the slotted grille. I want the honeycomb style in black. Also need to know if it is possible to do without having to paint anything. If anyone has the honeycomb style they want to get rid of let me know.

I have a honeycomb grille but it is not black. I had to break some of the tabs to get it out because I used the chrome surround that came on the truck. Be careful of used ones and make sure they have the tabs intact.

I have a honeycomb taken off my 06 Lariat. Like the other post I had to break some tabs to get it out. It's not black but could be pinted, also doesn't have the surround, I kept that for use with my new Roush grille. I'm not certain how mportant the tabs are as the grill eventually mounts with screws along the hood.
Anyway, you can have it if you want it, just cover shipping costs. Otherwise it goes to the trash dump soon. I posted a classified ad for it so you might still be able to see it there. Or I can email pics.
