rebuilding my engine

since i hydro-locked my engine i must rebuild it. soo i need all the torque specs for my 1996 4.0L V6 explorer engine if anyone has these it would help me alot.

Was this part of the thread I read yesterday - maybe in the engine forum? Goinig through a 3 foot puddle.

If you are going so far to pull and rebuild the motor, get a haynes or chiltons manual.

being that you hydro locked it , you bent probably every rod. the machine work on that engine and new rods will set you back 1500-1900 easy. that engine can't be overbored to easy and most of the time will require sleeves. the parts for it will also be another 1500.00. you need that blocked checked for cracks and the pistons may have slight fractures in them.
