Door Ajar
Help is needed urgently,my problem is the door ajar light stays on,also the dome light comes on every time i slow to a stop,seems to click in dash at about 10 mph,then off when i accelarate over 15 mph. tried spraying latch no help. what else can i try.

You didn't tell whether you have a crew cab or reugular cab because you will need to check all the doors. The culprit on my pickup was the right rear door on a crew cab. First try some good penatrating oil on the latch, sometimes you have to wait a while for it to work in, then try shutting the door hard-not necessasarily slamming it-and see what happens. If that doesn't work you will have to remove the door panel and disconnect the wire to that latch. hope this helps.

Same prob once on my rig. I cleaned the electrical contacts on the latch with spray electrical cleaner, havent had a problem since. They tend to get dusty and grimy, lube might add to the problem. Try the cleaner, hope this helps.
