Question

door ajar trouble

Hey all, I have a 2000 expedition and I am having trouble with the door ajar light. I have narrowed it down to the drivers door when it shuts it will not trip the switch so the lights will go off. my question is where is the switch????? Help
Please??

The switch is in the latch assembly. Just spray some WD-40 into the latch mechanism and it should straighten right up.

Be very generous with the WD-40. I just had that problem.
