Is the "The Right Stuff" in the Cheez-Wiz aerosol can, the correct gasket maker to use on the rear diff cover?

the right stuff is definity good stuff maybe a little to good for a diff cover if you plan on getting it back off any time soon I would just use regular RTV Silicone as the right stuff holds so good you will likely bend the cover if you need to remove it in the near future.

Just my 2 cents.

I bought the black rtv silicone from autozone and it's working really good (so far). I just recently changed my diff oil a week ago.

So, the Right Stuff might be overkill? What would be another alternative that would keep the leakage to a minimum?
