brake problems
Help! '99 Expy and the brake pedal went to the floor and the brake-idiot light is on.
Checked the resevoir and it is full.
No obvious leaks around the master cylinder or the ABS block.
I'm thinking I'll pull the wheels off and check for leaks around the calipers. But would it be a leak if the resevoir is full?
What else might be going on?
Is there a way to hook a scanner up to the ABS/brake computer?
Need to get this fixed in the next two days to be able to travel on home from the holidays.

Talked more to my wife about the expy brake problem.
The brake idiot light was on because of a sensitive parking brake switch.
She said when she first started driving, she applied normal braking force but the brakes did not apply. After pumping them a few times, the brakes then worked normal. Neither the ABS nor the brake idiot light came on.

Sounds like a bad master cylinder. With no leaks, and a full reservoir there should be no air in the system to require pumping up. I had one do the same thing. It would not do it every time, but when I least expected it. Another possible symptom: Put your foot on the brake pedal and hold continuous pressure on it. If it slowly goes to the floor, the master cylinder is bad.
