Pedal goes to floor, but does pump up when its full of fluid. Front (small) resevoir seems to leak. What is odd is that, when I go to check the level, it seems to have leaked into the rear (large) resevoir.
Because when I take the lid off, the front resevoir is empty, but fluid overflows out of the rear resevoir.
Any ideas?

Reason: better description
internal seal leak in the plunger for the front resivoir. replacing the master cylinder is the best response. you could rebuild it but i bet thats more expensive.
i would buy a NEW master cylinder. notice how i did not say a rebuilt. the rebuilts are a crap shoot and can be a dangerous one at that. the problem is, is at the factory they hone the cylinder but they reuse the stock piston in the now enlarged hole. use a over sized o ring and hope for the best. these will leak or just rupture .
There isn't anything wrong with the newer Rebuilt M/C's.
They are being rebuilt with new stainless steel sleeves, not with Cast sleeves which wear faster.
Turns out my rmanufactured master is still under warranty. I will be putting another one in from autozone.
Hope it does the trick. thanks again, Ilove my truck.
thanks
