Right now ive got an old hondamatic motorcycle on ebay, and ive had some questions about if i could deliver it. Whats usually a good price to charge per mile? Gas mileage is pretty good as wed use my dads 02 cheby, so im not to worried about that. Whats a good price yall? thanks
If we use our vehicles for work, we get .38/mile. That could be high if you have to go very far. Basically, it's the cost/mile of what you drive + your time to do it.
I would almost reccomend against delivering. IMO, it seems like alot of hassle, and plus, if the person buying would think of it, it would probably save them money to get it themselves!
I once delivered a truck to chicago for a big mac and large frys and 5 dollars in gas for my motorcycle to ride home on. I had the guy meet me at mcdonalds in joliet, il, he helped me get the harley out the back and then we went into mcdonalds where he bought me lunch while we signed the papers. It was a nice 4 hour ride back home with a full wallet and a full tummy. i even had it on my ebay auction that i would deliver it anywhere for that price. Even if it was further away he would only have to pay gas for the truck to get there. Figured it would give me a good reason to take the bike on a road trip. not that i really ever need a reason to do that lol
