Deals on E-bay
Been watching E-bay for deals on ski-doo snowmobiles. There's been some very good deals, but. The sellers always have a unbeleiveable low buy it now price and advertise they are located somewhere in the United States. When I contact the seller and ask for a exact location it turns out to be Europe not the U.S.
Only $3000 for a new sled my local dealer is asking $7500 for seems just to good to pass up???? With free shipping.
I know that its to good to be true but, how can they mislead people and get away with it. Seems to me you'd have to be a fool to even bid on anything on E-bay.
Any thoughts or advise would be great.

I've been looking at 4 wheelers on e-bay. Same thing $3000 for a $7000 4 wheeler. If it sounds to good to be true, its usually not true. Don't think I'll let them steal my money. I was gonna take a road trip and pick one up and pay for the shipping with gas money. But not send my money to Europe and get nothing in return. I wonder how many fall for this line of bs.

i got a new warrior off ebay for about 2 grand off what it would cost at a dealer.
Later after doing some pretty heavy modifications to it, i noticed that it had most likely been stolen.
If you dont know, 4 wheeler theft is a pretty big business. With the laws the way they are in this country, its a pretty easy one too. I didnt even know if there was anyone i could contact about it. So i just said forget it.
I sold it later, and was pretty upfront to the guy who bought it that it was probably stolen out of indiana, and brought to ohio, then sold on ebay...he didnt really care either. He was a 4-wheeler enthusiast, and he said that most dealers even sell stolen 4-wheelers. He said there's not alot you can do about it.
