I've used it in a couple of my past vehicles with higher mileage. Worked fine! In my Ranger however I have been sticking with The MC per the specs, also it's a syn blend and I have been happy with it.
I am curious to know the others take on the higher mileage version of the Valvoline is
I curently use the Valvoline Maxlife (high mileage~75k) on my 95 Jeep Wrangler (higher mileage) and love it.

thanks for the response..this is the first time i have used it in my truck.I had an 86 Olds Calais that I was using it in..Ran and worked fine and well.I was at walmart and they did have the MC 5W-30 that I use...But,it was a synthetic blend,So i went with the Valvoline.Being as thats what it was already using...any thoughts?..I'll stick with the Maxlife for a while and see how it does.Is the Synthetic MC bad for an engine that has 82000 miles already?

I used Maxlife in my 94 S10, it had 164000 on it when I sold it after getting a Ranger a few weeks ago. The S10 never used a drop of oil in 5000 mile oil changes. I am going to use it in my new 2001 Ranger 4.0 Edge as soon as I change the oil, it has 76000 on it now.
