intake bolt removal
removing 86 351w intake.the last time i did this on a 84 351w,i snaped off 2 bolts flush with the block.how can i be assured this wont happen again.i will soak each bolt head with PB Baster before i start.thanks

Not easy but it usually works.
I have a 97 5.8, try this. The two vertical bolts/studs on the front corners of the manifold broke on mine. When removing any bolt/nut you are overcoming two forces, the clamping force which produces friction on the nut/bolt face and friction of the threads. You can minimize both by grinding the nut off or bolt head off, then remove the manifold. After the manifold is off you can use a stud remover (or vise grips) to grab the remaining stud/bolt and spin it out. Of course you will replace it with a stainless fastener right?
