Eagle Talon valve lifters
Ok, my cousin brought his 97 Talon over to my place while he's away for awhile in jamaica, so I need some help getting it all fixed up for him when he gets back. first off, the valve train makes a LOT of noise when the engine is running, it sounds like a rocker or lifter or something is hitting the cover internally, I know its not a low oil pressure problem, mainly because I just checked all that, and he's got a mechanical gauge on it. oil pressure reads at 30-40psi.

I talked to a mechanic after i posted this, and he suspects it to be a collapsed lifter, I'm told its got hydraulic lifters, and my cousin didnt know he had practically nothing left in the engine. just enough oil to keep the mains lubed and not much else.
