Bump in the Night
Hi I am a frequent reader of the forums and need some advise on ranger suspensions. I have a 90 ranger xlt , 2.3 5sp . I have been hearing a bump or thud on the passenger-side floor whenever I go over small to moderate bumps. My question is what should I look for other than balljoints and radius arm bushings those are the common problems or should I just check everything bushings and all.
I am handy with a wrench so is this something i can do. My next problem is the exhaust, I have a leak at the manifold were it connects to the exhaust pipe. Do they sale a gasket for that or it,s just a ball and flange type.

I just changed the shocks this summer so they are new. It doesn,t have a sway bar or endlinks . Could it be a lose caliper because they have rubber type holder maybe one worked out, but when the weather warms up in a few days i will look the front over.
