It seems when I hit a bump or pot hole I get a loud sharp chirp coming from the front end somewhere. I am thinking it's coming from the torsion bar bushing on the right side. It's not a constant thing, only when the front end takes a more substantial bump.
To replace the bushings should the weight be taken off the wheels?
Any other thoughts about this would be helpful
Thanks
A noise as you describe it brings to mind metal to metal contact. Look for worn or broken bushings on the sway bar ends and all the suspension ball joints, donuts, or other places where the suspension or the steering pivots .
