OK here's one for ya, i got the Tcase in, the short adapter was already notched for the shifter rail (whoo hoo!!), i had to sawzall the exhaust off cause it was in the way.....now the problem, the double u-joint at the Tcase for the front driveshaft hits the tranny pan, can i run one ujoint there or do i have to find a long adapter?? and how much longer is the long adapter than the short one??
I am running a single ujoint on my driveshaft with the short adaptor without problems. If no one else posts before then I will measure the adaptors on my spare transmission, tcases later when I go and work on the truck and see what the difference in lengths are.
ok, gotta knock the dust off of this one..lol......2 years later and im FINALLY getting back to work on my truck.....monsterbaby, are you still running a single ujoint shaft with the short adapter without issues?? i want to get this thing rolling so i can flog the crap out of it!!!!! does anyone have pics of their C6/NP205 in a 78/79 F-250??

I never did switch that setup out and never had to replace ujoints. Only problem I ever had was the B&M shift cable was pretty close to it so just had to pull the cable to the side a little.
