4X4 High Light blinks when engaged
Hi All,
I was driving in 4x4high the other day--considerable amount of snow. The truck ran fine but every now and then the 4X4 HIGH light would blink. There was no patern to it though, it would flicker, go off, come on, stay on, etc.
Any thoughts? The truck stayed in 4X4 mode throughout and ran as smooth as silk.

Thanks for the link but they seem to be talking about two very different things.
1. Changing Velocity Sensor, which doesnt seem to be expensive
2. Changing GEM, which to me sounds like the computer
Has anyone else had the 4x4 light occasionally blink or go off with absolutely no accompanying ill effects on the drive? Winter is just starting to hit so Id like to have this taken care of before we get into some heavy snow up here in Canada.
