Autotape question

Anyone seen that commercial for the Black and Decker Autotape?

Why is that guy measuring the length of the shower curtain? I mean, It isn't likely that he is going to cut it. Right?

Maybe because the commerical is only 15 seconds in length and it would take a lot longer in time to measure the 100 ft driveway

We sell those things at my job. Usually people look at it and toss it back on the shelf followed by a nice comment like "that's a piece of junk." I wouldn't pay a penny for one of those and if I received it as a gift, I'd take it back and use the store credit to purchase a regular old tape measure.
