Wow...I'm flattered. FWIW...all wives are the same way including mine
Kevin - I was curious as to what your wife thinks about all the beautiful women that model with your truck?? Mine just every time I do something to any of the vehicles. I promised her that I wouldn't go crazy on the SD, but you and DC are tempting me!!! She is mad at me right now just because I put a leveling kit on the truck. She says it is too high now. High compared to what??? Mine is a midget compared to your's and DC's truck!!!

They're not truck pics. Just higher res. pics (like the size of the ones I sent you) of something that I'm working on for Kevin that he's been waiting on for a while now . I'm sure once Kevin gets this mod on his truck he'll be posting plenty of higher res. pics up. Hopefully wont' be much longer till he has them.....
I'd like to say what it is, but I'd like to wait till they're all finished....they should look awesome. Definately *custom*

The stabilizer mounts are part of the Dynatrac SD Combo....along witht he straight tie rod, crossover steering, relocated heavy duty adjustable trac bar, etc.. I put Donahoe Racing Stabilizers in the mounts (they only work in there since I modified my steering stops to prevent my tires from hitting the springs).
Dynatrac? The axle folks? I know a lot of rockcrawlers that use their axles because they're bulletproof, but they make parts for SD's? Learn something new everyday.
ON EDIT: Holy crap! I just looked-up Dynatracs Ford Conversion Kit. I had know idea they made that for SD's. I wonder if that kit would work on a dually?

Thanks for the compliment .
Been a busy year for me. Haven't really logged on here much, and everytime I did there wasn't anything for me to respond to....

Yep, Dynatrac, the axle folks in CA. I see you found it. They also have: Free Spin Kit. I think they'd work on a DRW......if you call them they'd be able to tell you for sure.
LOL Yeah my wife's the same way.. she knows its all in good fun. I tell her that she should be honored to be married to "Bear Hunter" (I'm kidding of course) at which time she ...it's fun getting under her skin
DC...Just saw them bro! sent you a reply back!!!

DC - I can wait on whatever the surprise is on Kevin's rig. You have my interest. Speaking about Dynatrac did you keep your D50 front axle? I know when we talked before on your ARB you were installing it in your 50. If you kept your 50 did you have to modify anything for the Dynatrac stuff to fit? I thought their stuff was only designed for the 60.
Kevin maybe your wife knows it is in good fun, but not mine. She flipped when I started racing my cars. She thought I was done when I sold all the cars to buy the house and some trucks. Then I started wheeling the Rover and that went over like a lead balloon. It was not pretty when I put the leveling kit on the SD. She said I ruined the truck and won't drive it anymore. Oh well, I guess that is the go ahead to mod the truck being that she has taken over the Rover and won't let me do anything more to it.

Is the Heat Extractor Hood made by Keystone Restyling Products. Bought it from sporttrucksolutions.com.....at the time they were the cheapest out of any where I called. It was $699 + shipping.
Thanks for the compliment.

Hopefully won't be too much longer for what's going on Kevin's rig.....might just take a little longer with the Holidays and all.
Yeah I still have the Dana 50 front end. From the u-joints outward the Dana 50 and 60 are the same. And their kits only replace outside the u-joints. Didn't have to modify anything to get the SD combo to fit....part of the intructions have you cut off the lower trac bar bracket and steering stabilzer mount from the passenger side though. I did have to modify their diff cover to work with the SD combo....the straight tie rod would contact it approaching full lock...so we machined the cover down a little to clear the tie rod.
You can't keep up with me bro.....I can't stop...it's a disease
Yep, had to mention the Heat Extractor...one of these days I'm going to take some higher res. closeups of it and put them in my gallery over at TB just for you
