You mean there are other things out there? Music is cool and motorcycles, 4X4 quads, antique tractors, my German Shepard. Collecting tons of tools & welders & plasma cutters, messing around in the shop. Movies with tons of car chase scenes such as Gone In 60 Seconds, Bullitt. Used to like watching the TV series called Vegas with Robert Urich with his red T-bird and the other series he was in with the green 65 Mustang fastback. Cool stuff back then. .

Yeah I dont think I have ever seen vegas, musta been before my time abit, and you collect tools? That is cool man! If you ever run into a good used plasma, or even a mig with the gas kit on it, lemme know! My mig is just a regular ol one, and I dont think gas can be attached to it, and that would sure be nice.

What brand of mig do you have? Most migs accept the gas attachment. I got lucky when my neighbour owns a welding repair shop had a small used plasma in stock. It was used very little and was less then half price. Plus if there is a problem he can fix it reasonable. Hard to find used equipment at a decent price. Look in the Western Producer for used plasmas and welders. Canadian Tire has a decent deal on Lincoln migs, 220 volt. Lockups got one on sale for around $600 without the gas kit that can be added for around $100. It takes along time to get all the tools needed for working on old trucks and lots of $.

For inticate rust repair plasma saves alot of time and makes repairs alot easier. It doesn`t like cutting rusty material but for the most part does quite well.

Yeah, plus for replacing big panels, it sure seems like it would be handy to just cut the area for the panel right out, plus it is sure alot more neat cutting then a messy old torch.

I just rebuilt a 78 Goldwing this summer. It only had 7400kms on it but it had sat in a farmers shed for 25 years without much attention. The biggest problem were the brakes and the carbs. Next summer I have a Massey Harris 101 that needs alot of TLC. It was my Grandpa's tractor and the first one dad used when he started helping grandpa on the farm. When I have nothing else to do I have a buddy in town and we get together and play the guitars.

That Goldwing sounds neat. Always wanted one but theyare always big bucks. What is something like your`s worth now? I picked up an old Yamaha 125 endoro that has sat for 2/3 years, have to do fix the carb and clean the gas tank. It had been vandalized with the lights broken out and the gas tank dented in. Hope to find a better tank, may have to repair.
I have Dad`s first tractor, a W-4 IHC that needs some tlc and bought a parts tractor this summer.
Still have my 56 M100 to finish as well as afew Mustangs. So much to do with so little time and money.

Been busy lately and haven't checked in for a while. Been fixing the 86 f150 4x4 the past weekend. Rebuilt the whole front end. New u-joints, seals, wheel bearings, etc. The old ones were totally shot, and with the snow figured should have the 4x4 working in tip top shape. Also been checking over the snow machines making sure there ready to go. Put up the christmas lights as well, and other than that been working on the green stuff.
