what is that it says vss so is that the same one in the rearend housing???
it scared the crap out of me i thought i was about to lose my tranny

The VSS IS the module on the differential. What did it do to cause the code?

P0500 b VSS Vehicle speed sensor malfunction
Probable causes
Sensor,
circuit, PCM, PSOM, TR failure, low trans. fluid
