Recipies
*Mac n Cheese. Adders as desired: 1lb ground beef, can of tomato sauce/paste, chedder cheese, green beans, touch of italian seasoning.
*Spagetti. Buy the bottled sauce to save time. Adders to sauce (as desired): mushrooms, chopped garlic cloves, onion, ground beef, italian seasoning.
*Curry and rice. Buy a pack of S & B curry mix. Saute 1 lb chicken breast or thigh. Add curry and vegies (optional) such as onion, green peppers, jap peppers, sliced carrot, sliced celery. Serve over white rice. Note that this is pretty good stuff but to make the curry takes roughly $8 or so. However, you get a great left over
.*Toasted cheese sandwiches with ham. Use chedder and not gross processed cheese. For more flair, add some onion and or jap peppers. Butter up the piece of toast that does not have cheese on it (margerine/oleo crap is NOT allowed
).*Crock pot creations. Stew meat, chicken, pork then add vegies as desired. Chunk up potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, etc. Add a can of diced tomatos. Salt/pepper/etc seasonings as desired.
***Nothing I noted above really needs to be measured, just use common sense and add as much as desired. I'd suggest making more than needed as leftovers are great time savers.

Get a large can of it, and some cheap hot sauce if you're into that.
Heat it with a micronuke in a glass or plastic bowl with a plate on top of it in case some of the potato chunks burst in the process (tends to make a mess unless the dish is covered).
Canned stuff was the first thing I played with in the kitchen, and big cans are better than small ones.
Ya know how tortilla chips tend to have about two inches of busted chips in the bottom of the bag? Crunch 'em up, mix them into some canned chili, heat 'em most of the way and then top it with shredded cheddar cheese and heat (in a micronuke) for another 30 - 45 seconds.
Chopped fresh tomatoes are good in canned chilli too. Not to mention black olives...
OR
Brown some burger in a skillet. Dump in a plain old can of tomato sauce. Add italian spice, garlic, and a small can of mushrooms. When it's simmered for a bit, boil some water. Cook the noodles about ten minutes exactly.
As with chili - you can add all kinds of goodies to spaghetti sauce....
Get some cheap french bread, cheese, and smoked sausages. Cut the french bread loaf in half, split it, spread it with cheese and hot sauce (I like Tobasco), split one of the sausages and lay it on the cheese. Then NUKE THAT PUPPY for about 1.5 to 2.5 minutes. Quick, easy, munchy, and lasts a long time...
*Naturally, since I mentioned that, I had to out to the kitchen for about 5 minutes. Yum!

O ya- girlfriend!
OK, OK- it was a different time.
One of my favorites involves frozen Potatoes O'Brien, eggs, whatever meat is in the fridge (ham is best), and shredded cheese. Mix it all together and bake it @ 350 for about 20 minutes. This is a good one to make ahead and freeze in portions (great for camping too).
