It will work on her PC. As for the hondar, you can use either an FM transmitter, or an aftermarket deck with an AUX input, or an iPod input.

It will work with any computer i believe.

theres a bunch of models, go to www.apple.com

It depends on her hondas deck, if its mp3 player compatable then yes, i know there some adapters that you can use.

i belive they range in price from 50-250+ dollars, some are minis, some are video players.

You just got to check it out for your sefl, i dont personally hve one, but a bunch of my friends do, there awesome
as i was browsin the site i found this
http://www.apple.com/ipod/ipodyourcar/ it allows you to plug it in serveral cars, including the honda

I loved my ipod, however it was stolen at a party. I am thinkin about getting new one soon here, but we'll see. I am not sure I like only being able to use music from iTunes on there. I would really like to be able to stream music from Rhapsody to the unit.

It will work in the Honda, but the best way to do it depends on what the stereo in the Honda is. If she has a cassette deck, there is an adapter that plugs into the iPod and then goes into the cassette deck. These work pretty well, and are cheap. If she has an aftermarket HU, (some factory ones work, too) then she can get an input wired into it, and then control the iPod through the HU. These sound very good, but are a bit more expensive. If neither option is feasible (i.e. factory AM/FM/CD) then an FM transmitter can be used. These don't sound as good as wired inputs, and are a bit of a pain in the city, but when they're the only option, there's nothing wrong with them.

As far as different models, there are three basic styles of iPod, each available in different capacities. The cheapest is the Shuffle. They're tiny and relatively inexpensive, but don't have a screen to see what is playing or select different songs. The next level is the Nano. These are also tiny, but have color screens and hold more music. They also hold pictures, which you can see on the screen. The third style looks is a bit bigger, but holds a lot more. These also have color screens, and in addition to music and pictures, can play movies. (I'm not very familiar with this, but I don't think you can just put a regular movie on it without some manipulation of the file. For specs on all three, check out apple.com. Just keep in mind that capacity estimates are kind of like EPA mileage estimates- you can't actually get that many songs on it in the real world.

It will work fine with the laptop; she'll just have to use the Apple software that comes with it (also available for free download from apple.com).

One last thing, Apple gives discounts to college students ($20 on most of the iPods, I think), so if she's in college that might be worth looking into. Otherwise, might as well buy direct from Apple, and get the free laser etching (except on the Shuffle) because you won't find them below list price (especially this time of year).

I have a 20 GB Ipod that will hold between 3000 and 5000 songs. I love it, I don't have to mess with changing CDs while driving, and I can change from listening to Hank Williams Jr to Guns and Roses to Chris LeDoux with just a click. The price seems a little steep, but it was well worth it.

I have a 20 gig Ipod also. I bought it because I put a new stereo system into my F250 and the Alpine head unit was satellite and Ipod ready. I have a small glove box near the steering wheel and the installer ran the wire there so that when I plug in the Ipod it is hidden from view and I can leave it in the vehicle. You can control the Ipod from the head unit and the sound is incredible, I really love it. I listen to indoors also, much more than I ever thought I would. I also really like not having to lug a ton of CD's around.
