Also, I heard somewhere that one should not block the radiator partially, say 3/4, because the remaining airflow will be twisting your cooling fan unevenly especially at high speeds, resulting in waterpump bearing failure. Don't know if this is true in our engines.
That makes sense to me. Maybe get a piece of cardboard that is big enough to block the entire radiator and cut a hole out in the middle so the airflow will pass over the clutch fan unit and a little more. So it's pulling the air right out of the middle.
Just replaced thermostat,and man I forgot how hot the heater got. Used to run in between the low mark and the n in normal. Now it is on the r. Now while I was in there I seen oil at the bottom of the turbo and on the ebpv rod. Time to do a search on tubo rebuild. Thanks for the help fellas.
stock thermostat for the obs is a 203 stat!!! also the napa stat is a 203 and the stat sold on the site you guy were talking about is for the superduty unless they have gotten another one in for the obs. they are different. i guess i will go see if they have them now for the obs.

ok so i checked the site and its 96 and up that have the cold stat in them. but if you truck in a 94.5 you may have the wrong stat if thats the one you got.

mine was doing the same...thans to cookie i unplgged the plug right below the compressor side of turbo and no more leaky......its the plug for the ebpv actuator..hope this helps.
1994 1/2 Stroker have you noticed an increase in your mileage with the new thermostat??
Sorry Fordguy I havent gotten to drive it since sat night on the test drive. It will probably be two weeks before I can go through enough fuel to check.
