Any one out there like makin music? (ture dual pipes on a big block doesn't count here!) I've been playing a guitar for a year or so, and wonder if anyone else on hear does and what instrument/style you play. I've been into a lot of Skynyrd lately, but like anything with strong guitar parts.
I, too, play guitar. I've been playing off and on for 2 years now, and just bought my new Ibanez guitar, SA series. 3 pickups, 5-way switch. Deep marroon color, birdseye maple fingerboard. Plugged in through a Xoom 505 MkII Fx pedal, coming out a Mesa Boogie 4x12 case. (tim taylor sound here!)

I own three: a very nice 1965 Fender IV (6 string bass with a whammy bar!)(sunburst); 1977 Les Paul Standard (natural) and a (1978?) Fender "Music Master" Bass (black). I haven't picked one up in a while, but I like to jam on a saturday when no one's home. I think I have some hearing loss as a result. I have lots of inspiration in the family too.

I used to play guitar,I quit though in favor of the banjo
If you have to ask you wouldn't understand!
I had a (last guitar)'96 Fender '52 Tele re-issue,butterscotch blonde, and a re-issue '65 Twin Reverb amp.I used a Danalectro Echo pedal and had a compressor, now that was a sound!I had a Tele standard with B-bender before that. That was fun but i got carried away with the pedal steel stuff,i sold it for the re-issue.
I now play 5 string banjo exclusively,It is a Gibson,Earl Scruggs Fint Hill Special,It has a "Keith Tuner" on the B string and that makes for some good 'ol hillbilly grass!I love it.
As of right now i play alone but tried to put a bluegrass band together once, but everybody had there own taste and it didn't work. But i also love other kinds of music also.I like Skynrd also,Marshall Tucker, early Allmans, ect.
But real bluegrass will aleays be my Favorite.

I am a bass player currently in two seperate bands. One band plays out, while the other is strictly doing studio recording. I'm playing a vintage '62 Fender Precision bass (sunburst), through a Carvin R1000 Redline (1,000 watt head) and two cabinets, each has 4- 10" speakers and an adjustable horn. Love Jammin'.

I have been playing the tuba for 5 years now, I can also play euphonium and trombone. My mom gave me a chromatic harmonica for christmas and I just started on the piano.

I've been playing the guitar on and off for about 16 years. I have a Fake Les Paul made by Encore that has been outfitted with EMG pickups. I have a little home built (single pickup) that just loves to scream. I play both of these through a Line6 Flextone amp w/ Floorboard.
I've been trying to find some people locally that want to get together and jam, but I haven't had to much luck.

I played piano when I was very young.
Then I bought a Horner harmonica.
Then I played Bb tenor sax.
Then I saved up enough money from washing dishes I bought a Kawai electric guitar.
I now own a Fender Stratocaster, a Karera STC-33, a Framus accoustic, and a C melody sax.
Just my flutes, handmade wooden ones at that! Visit a friend that has at least 15 and more like 20 guitars in his living room and does play them all. If you go to visit , he considers it proper that you bring something to play(only if you've been there before!), even just 2 blocks of wood for those less musically inclined. Great place to go relax and "jam".
