3spd trans ID?

Just bought a 70 360 that guy thought was in a later model truck. It has a 3spd with it and I wondered what year/model or whatever it is. It has RAT which is Model? CJ2 and MC and 70634, assume serial. One of these the date code? Is there any value in these? or is it a boat anchor?
