'00 EX power windows (front pass and drivers) go up and down very slowly and get stuck midway. Both windows seem to be dragging/binding up in the tracks. Ive read the other threads dealing with this problem but seem to be vague on what the real fix is? Does any one know how to fix this problem.
So far have lubed the tracks with silcon (no help)
installed (by used car dealer) new regulator and motor on the pass side (no help)
what else can be done to get this fixed???
I wonder if someone had the window runs (tracks) apart to replace a PDL actuator or door latch or something. The run at the back of the window has to be moved to get at the PDL actuator. At the top of the run is a clip sorta thing that holds the bottom run to the top run (the part you see at the back of the window). If you miss with the clip, and it's easy to do, you'll have the symptoms you have.
I have the same problem with my driver's window, but only when it gets REALLY cold - which it does here in western Colorado (-5*F yesterday morning). Share your findings and, hopefully, success at curing your issue! Thanks!
Ok passenger side window is fixed..... the "mechanics" at the used car dealer ship forgot to put the "clip" back on, they admitted it when we started talking about the clip and bringing in a copy of the thread (thanks again Racerguy). Of course they dont let you back in the shop area so we didnt really get to see the "clip" (any one got a pic of this clip) But its fixed and working, but the drivers door window works pretty good but kind of slow going up but normal speed going down, but think we will live with it for now. Thanks again guys.

I have the same problem with mine only when it's cold. No missing clip issue because doors and windows never worked on. Any ideas would be appreciated.
