This winter has been quite mild, coldest I've seen was -8*F. Normally we have had much colder. Were havin' a heat wave and it's +20*F now yipee!!

Well, things sure warmed up here in CR. Monday night we set a record at -19 farenhiet.
This morning it was a balmy 2 ABOVE! My coconut palms are looking bad. And my orange trees are toast.

Coldest I ever saw personally was -36 out in Central South Dakota, back in 96, but in the 8 years I lived out there, never got that cold again.

It hasn't been bad yet, I think it was around 10* this morning. Not a big surprise here, for this time of year.

The worst I can recall was -30*. Anything below -20*, and upon turning the key in the Ranger, a small hand pops out of the dash and displays an obscene gesture until I give up and go back to bed until spring.

lol, i think thats the most negatve numbers i've ever seen in temperature. we dont ever see them down here.

Yeah, it was 34 here. I'm not one of those "below zero" guys. I even start getting a little uncomfortable when I see that mercury start heading south of 20... which it does with a pleasant infrequency here.
