you my very well be right on the fact that 351m was not stock in 89 but this truck may have been special ordered or had motor replaced. Not sure yet where truck was built ( windsor,Ont. or USA ). Canadian truck some times differ in stock options.
I will check the vin# and the motor again tomorrow ( it's at my work place ) but i'm sure it is a 351
no denying that Canada did some things different. However in the USA, Ford stopped putting 351M's in their trucks in 1983 give or take a year. Before EFI anyway. But if it is a 351M and it's EFI, I'd be interested in hopping over the border for one.
