PATS bypass programming for remote start

I just had an alarm with remote start installed on my 2004 FX4. I didn't have my spare key with me when they installed it so they were unable to program the bypass module for the PATS system. The bypass module is a directed electronics model 556sw. I can't find any instructions for this and I am wondering how to program it so that I don't have to take my truck back to the shop to have them do it. If anyone knows how to program this module please let me know. Thanks.

if its anything like mine ,my dealer put the new key in the ignition and turned it forward without starting and back off then forward again.each time waiting for the lights to go off.hope that helps.btw,how much did all that cost ? i've been wanting to get one.

Derek...I got a quote on a system (Viper) W/remote start, unlock/lock, and power windows up/down...for $450.00 installed....Mind you that I installed my Power door locks and windows myself (aftermarket).

You'll have to program it just like the factory does. It should be in your manual. The part you have (directed electronics model 556sw) is just a bypass module that acts like a seperate ford key.
