If you're looking for good news, its that you have a viable engine no matter what you do. Its an FE. even a small 330 built up will be a powerfull motor.

so i don't have an 352PI (NEVER MADE)

I have a1966 352 block .030 over , with a 2T, 330 crank, low compression pistons. heads from 1967, c7ae-a (god only knows what) . and an intake that is up for sale, and a mess in the shop. Learned a big lession on FE id and buying. I will make it all come togeather.

may try giving it a little more bore & stroke, find some good heads , i will be happy

last thing , numbers on a cam: k-37 / 6230 with b8a above

i thought of posting the below under my post 65 4x4 352 gone

this motor runs fine untile it get to oppertive tep around 170, drop to 5-10 psi on the oil, cold around 60. found a peice of metal in the oil pan 3/8 by 1/2 thin. When it get hot it makes a heck of a noise under the intake someware behind the water inlet and the rear main leak(pours). but over all no smoke run smoth, sorry to list it as gone in the post thought i should clarify it, now that i know the true meaning of a gone engine. it has mec lifters d2tea heads , due have a set of c7aea heads and other parts from a 352
