MAF removal

I'm about to clean the MAF on my 4.0. I have everything ready except the security torx driver. It's hard enough finding a decent set of regular torx drivers but I've never even seen a security headed one until now. Where in the world can I get one?

Sears usually carries a set of tamper proof torx bits for about $20. You might check e-Bay if you know the exact size you need and only plan on needing the one bit.

I was able to pick up a set at Harbor Freight. You can prob order it online from a bunch of different places.

I've also heard of people taking a dremel and removing that security pin in the bolt, then a regular torx will work.

Just another idea for ya.

I picked up only the one I needed (3/8 drive socket) at Auto Zone!! Cost was about $5.

On all my Fords I have cut a slit in head of those dumb factory bolts and used a regular screwdriver to remove them, after which I threw them away and replaced them with similar sized phillips-head bolts and lock washers.
