I have an issue that I noticed last winter when I bought the truck but never did anything about it because it seemed to go away. Well now that it is getting cold again the problem is back and appears to be worse.
The problem is, when it is windy at all, there is a rattle that sounds almost as if the windshield is not sealed tight and is rattling against the truck. Happens on both sides, but mostly on the passenger side. Has anyone else experienced this issue or happen to know what it might be? Sounds like it is coming from the lower part of the windshield.
check the coweling this would be the piece that right below the windshield
out side it will come loose and make it sound like someone tapping on the
windshield

You're exactly right. I had the same problem and corrected it by adding a little black sealer to stick it to the windshield so it wouldn't rattle any more. My brother did it (he does the warranty work for the Ford dealer) and he was neat about it.
Thanks guys, this sounds like my issue, but I have tried to tighten that thing down as good as I could, I am guessing that must not matter. At least I have somewhere to point now when I take it in. Thanks again.
