I have a 3AA Cell Flashlight With A single 1 Watt Luxeon LED and it puts my 3D Cell Mag to shame...Much Brighter light and alot cleaner also...Unless Mag comes out with the LED's I dont think Ill ever go back to them

As for other uses, I once cut firewood with my MAG-Lite! That old, dead tree never knew what hit it. I did break the bulb, but the flashlight housing survived quite nicely.
These are not in my truck, but some folks have used the MAG-Lite mounting kit ... minor drilling and maybe some self-tapping screws involved.

I just put mine in the pocket behind the seat usually the passengers cause i can grab it quicker as im jumping out to go chase deer or whatver else with it

Ya, i agree with tweeter...my small Scorpion flashlight runs off 2 123 batteries and has a xenon bulb....puts my D-cell Mag Light to shame...but I don't carry the Mag for light, I carry it LAPD style...self-defense!
