My daily driver(truck in my gallery) has been my ongoing project since I bought it 3 years ago. Thinking back on all the money I've spent on it, I could have a pretty new truck by now....
1978 IH Scout II. Been a project since I got it in 1980. It has gone through several engine combinations, up to its current 392 with a 4-71 blower. Currently building it a new suspension system with dana 60's, ladder bars, etc. A 1971 Maverick I am pro-streeting, Need to get a frame and cage to hold my ladder bars and 351. A 1989 Bronco with 400 big block, nitrous, holley pro-jection, etc. currently putting in interior. And finally, a 1982 F-100 4x4. Cleaned up the engine compartment and added a 4 bbl and dual exhaust to the 300. Just put in a Alpine head unit, dual 10 inch subs behind the seat, Alpine V12 plate amp and three Blaupunkt speakers in each door. Restored the interior. Currently putting in power windows and locks. And finally a 1980 Dodge pickup that I have shaved and smoothed, painted monocolor red, built a 360 and 727 for. Currently preparing to install the engine and interior, then put all new lights, grill etc to finish. And a Clod Buster with about $1400 in mods. The last ongoing project I have been working on since 1984 is how to explain all of this to my wife!
