good distributer

is there a good distributer that will replace the stock one and still plug in to the factory igniton. its a 78 f-150.

There are quite a few out there really. Accel used to offer one that plugged right in. I have it in my '79 F-350. I don't see this line of distributors anymore, however. There are quite a few manufacturers out there, though. Do some checking through Summit, or Jegs. You should be able to locate one that would plug right in, or at the very least, some of those should have directions on wiring up their distributor to your ignition module.

and i thinl i should be fine with a stock distributer recurved.

go to ebay.get a hei distributor.1 wire hook up.50k volts.cheap ($110)complete.get rid of the ignition module and clean up the engine bay in 1 easy step!power just needs to turn on and off when key is turned on or off!easy to add a rpm gauge too.
